Enrique Flores pitched well, but the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople still fell short, losing, 1-0, to the Beaumont Crossbeaus at The Igloo. Aladdin Dawud, the winner, improved to 2-1. He held Ellesmere Island to no runs on 2 hits over 5.2 innings, while racking up 6 strikeouts. Kenny Flint picked up the save, his 6th.

The Snowpeople had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Crossbeaus going into the top of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 19-year old first baseman Paul Sherman came to the plate. Sherman hit a solo home run on a 1-0 slider from Ellesmere Island hurler Enrique Flores. It was Sherman's 4th home run of the year.

"We'll keep playing hard and let the chips fall where they may," said Beaumont manager Ángel Macías.

After losing, Ellesmere Island is 7-7.
