Ladue shortstop Sylvester Latrobe had a good game, even if his team did not. The Rams dropped a 7-5 decision to Hicksville at Hound Pound. Latrobe was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Ladue, with the loss, is 4-11.

Hicksville got a jolt from Sammy Glendenning. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it brought the house down.
