Toros Handed 6-3 Loss by Northwest Territory

The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.
The Northwest Territory Beavers handed the Tijuana Toros a loss at Beaver Town. The final score was 6-3. Bob Matthews was one of the major contributors for Northwest Territory. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Reliever Ismael Riddles Jr. picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Finley Keirl took the loss. Ed Fox earned the save for Northwest Territory, his 5th.
Tomás Hernández, who is tied for 8th in the SA- in total bases with 33, aided the Northwest Territory cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the first. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"Today was a lot of fun," said Matthews.
The hot start continues for the defending champion Beavers. This was their 11th win in 15 games.
