Octopi Need Extra Frames to Get Past Zoomies
The Ogallala Octopi defeated the Shady Side Zoomies, 5-1. Doing his part was left fielder Jun-soo Hwang, who went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. Mark Conner claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 4.2 innings. His record stands at 1-1. The victory makes Ogallala 9-7.

Hwang had a game-changing double in the top of the tenth. On a 1-1 fastball from Milo Church, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Octopi a 2-1 lead. It was the 2nd double of the year for Hwang.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Hwang said.
