The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish topped the Maine Sea Dogs, 6-5, at Plattsburgh Park. Plattsburgh catcher José Gonzáles was a spark plug for the offense. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Plattsburgh reliever Kwang-sub Park picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Bill Hewlett took the loss. The win puts Plattsburgh at 8-8.

With Plattsburgh leading 4-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Gonzáles hit a changeup from Bill Hewlett for a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Puffer Fish ahead, 6-1.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Gonzáles.
