Plattsburgh picked up a win at Plattsburgh Park, bumping off the Maine Sea Dogs, 4-2. Pitcher Víctor Martínez was a major reason the Puffer Fish emerged victorious. In 7.1 innings, Martínez surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. The Sea Dogs, at 5-12, have stumbled out of the gate.

Plattsburgh took a 4-1 lead on Hayden Balsdon's 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which Balsdon hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Maine pitcher Haico Ulderink visibly frustrated.
