In a low-scoring game between Ogallala and Maine, pitcher José García was excellent. The Ogallala left-hander helped his team knock off the Sea Dogs, 1-0. Lu-po-teh Fong earned the save for Ogallala, his 3rd. With the loss, Maine falls to 10-8.
García, the Ogallala left-hander, went 6.1 innings, allowing no runs on 1 hit. He collected 7 strikeouts.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Ogallala manager Dewitt Hopper said.
