Jacobs Now 4-0 After Subduing Zoomies
In a tight tilt between the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 and the Shady Side Zoomies, Nick Jacobs was the deciding factor. The Philadelphia right-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win. Robbie de Groot earned his 6th save, after closing out the game. Shady Side falls to 12-7.

The Liberty U-21 liked what they saw from Jacobs. The 21-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Zoomies to no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings, and striking out 5.

"Enjoyed this one," Jacobs told the Philadelphia Chronicle. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
