The home crowd had a good time watching the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 and Plattsburgh Puffer Fish get after it.

Getting a good performance from designated hitter Robbie Gingerich, the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the Philadelphia Liberty U-21, 8-2. Gingerich hit 2 home runs. He drove in 7 runs and scored twice for the Puffer Fish. Philadelphia now is 11-8.

Gingerich put Plattsburgh up, 5-0, when he hit a grand slam home run off Willis Thomas in the bottom of the fourth. His 4th home run of the season helped the Puffer Fish capture the win.

Said losing manager Santiago Paez: "We had a bad night. It happens."
