The Toronto Thunder and New Orleans Voodoo played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Toronto Thunder and the New Orleans Voodoo, Brandon Fox, who finished 2nd in the PL in strikeouts with 142 last year, was the difference-maker. The Toronto right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. The loss makes New Orleans 6-9.

Fox was in midseason form against the Voodoo. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits and fanned 10 in his 7.1-inning effort.
