Maine Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Sea Dogs Park played host to some high drama.

The Maine Sea Dogs found a way to sneak past the Surprise Shockers, 5-4, in 10 innings. Maine pitcher Brett Baxter, for one, had a standout performance. Maine sits at 6-13 in the early going.

Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, Kenny Peterson wanted to seize the moment and deliver a clutch hit. Surprise pitcher Jeff Gooden had other ideas. He wanted to end the Maine rally. What happened next? With one out, Peterson hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Sea Dogs erupted in celebration.

Baxter said afterward that he hoped the win would galvanize the team.
