The Shady Side Zoomies handed the Flint Crush a 4-3 loss in 10 innings at Terriers Ballpark. Christian McFarland, who is tied for 3rd in the SA- in total bases with 43, was the star on offense. He was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Stewart Dawson earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 1-1. The Crush have now dropped 5 straight.
Michael Cardwell clinched the win with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the tenth. In the game, the Kingston, Jamaica native drew 1 walk.
"The fans went nuts at the end," McFarland said.
