The Amarillo Warheads electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Amarillo Warheads and the Beaumont Crossbeaus, Bob Smith, who is tied for 4th in the SA- in quality starts with 3, was the difference-maker. The Amarillo left-hander spearheaded the 1-0 win in 10 innings. José Valéncia, credited with the win, is now 2-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings.

The knockout blow came in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when third baseman Atsushi Ueno stepped to the plate with the bases loaded and hit a run-scoring single, to win the ballgame.

"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Smith. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."

The 5th-place Warheads bumped their record to 11-10.
