The Memphis Music picked up a win at Shockers Field, downing the Surprise Shockers, 5-4, in 10 innings. On the mound for Memphis was right-hander Don Finley, who played a pivotal role in the win. The 9th-place Music now have a win-loss record of 8-13.

This game was not decided until Albert Hernández came to bat in the top of the tenth. With the bases loaded and one out, the Memphis catcher hit a sacrifice fly. The Music took the lead, 3-2.
