Willis Thomas pitched a gem to lead Philadelphia to victory over the Amarillo Warheads, 5-1. Robbie de Groot locked down his 5th save. The Liberty U-21 saw their record improve to 15-9.

In the bottom of the fifth, with Philadelphia leading 1-0, Dan Cook hit a changeup from Bob Foster for a 2-run single, giving the Liberty U-21 the lead, 3-0.

"Good to pick up this win," Cook said.
