The first-place Philadelphia Liberty U-21 took on the Northwest Territory Beavers in front of a spirited crowd.
Bobby Johnson, who is tied for 2nd in the SA- in wins with 4, was terrific for the Philadelphia Liberty U-21 in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Northwest Territory Beavers. His performance earned Johnson rave reviews. Paul Dunn earned save number 3 this season.
Kelsey Verbiest had a chance to be a hero in the top of the eighth inning. With Northwest Territory trailing 2-1, Northwest Territory had the bases empty. But Verbiest struck out.
Philadelphia leads the Silver Low A by 4½ games.
