The Ballard Beavers went down to defeat to Ronnie Peters and his Bethlehem teammates. The final score was 3-2 in favor of the Angel Kitties. Bethlehem reliever Fabian Calkhoven picked up the win to move to 1-0. Larry Oliver suffered the loss. The loss makes Ballard 16-12.
Shane Tate, the 19-year old center fielder , had a direct impact on the outcome. Tate contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Bethlehem up, 3-2.
