Baby Lakers Get Clutch Win, 3-2
|
Behind the hitting of Gary Benjamin, the Bompton Baby Lakers stopped the Amarillo Warheads, 3-2. Benjamin was 2 for 3 with 2 singles, a walk, and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs for the Baby Lakers. Thaddeus Arganoza finished the game for Bompton and earned his 1st save. Amarillo is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 8 in a row.
The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Benjamin delivered big-time for Bompton, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Gerald Delgado. The game-changing hit put the Baby Lakers on top, 3-2.
