Surprise Earns 4-3 Win
The Surprise Shockers picked up a win at Terriers Ballpark, knocking off the Shady Side Zoomies, 4-3, in 11 innings. On the mound for Surprise was left-hander Christian Craigen. He played a pivotal role in the triumph. The win went to Bruce Williams in relief, making him now 1-1. Måns Goos took the loss for Shady Side. The loss makes Shady Side 19-17.

Surprise used a timely hit from Luis Castro to get the win. The right fielder stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Shockers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Shady Side manager Ralph Gilbert.
