Shady Side Zoomies starter Pete Costa turned in an exceptional performance against the Bompton Baby Lakers at Terriers Ballpark, resulting in a Shady Side win, 5-2. In 7.2 innings, Costa surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 1. He allowed 2 runs. The 4th-place Zoomies go to 21-16.

Shady Side took a 4-2 lead on Pancho Trujillo's 3rd double of the season. The 2-run double, which Trujillo hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Bompton pitcher Zhi-jan Wu visibly frustrated.
