Puffer Fish Score Late to Win, 4-3

Plattsburgh took on Flint in front of a lively crowd.
The Flint Crush got a superb performance from pitcher Al Casey, but the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish still won the game, 4-3. Casey threw 5.1 innings of shutout ball. Plattsburgh is now 22-17.
Plattsburgh needed the clutch hitting of Nick Mason to seal the deal. The first baseman swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Puffer Fish on top, 4-3. For the game, Mason had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Enjoyed this one," Mason told the Plattsburgh Times. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
