Hawkins Now 2-2 After Subduing White Walkers

Seattle pitcher Bruce Hawkins did his part in helping his team beat the Buffalo White Walkers, 2-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. José Correa notched his 6th save of the season. Seattle has a record of 8-7.
The famously hardworking Hawkins handled the White Walkers all day, notching 7 strikeouts in 7.1 innings while allowing 2 hits. Hawkins, the 31st overall pick in the 2056 draft, goes to 2-2 on the year with 21 strikeouts.
"I just try to go out and give it 100 percent every game," Hawkins told a local reporter after the game. "That's my mantra, and like today, it will pay off more often than not."
