Late Rally Earns Boston 8-6 Win
|
Led by Ali Aghamirzaeijenaghard, the Boston Patriots defeated the Hollywood Shredders, 8-6. Aghamirzaeijenaghard went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Patriots. The Shredders, now 5-10, continue their sluggish start.
Jiao-long Tow, who is tied for 10th in the PL in runs scored with 8, was 2-4 with 2 singles for Boston. In a tie game with one out in the bottom of the eighth, Tow came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Patriots in front, 7-6.
"The name of the game is scoring runs," Tow said. "We did a good job of that today."
