Amarillo Warheads starter Matthew Hamm was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Shady Side Zoomies, 5-1. The winning pitcher was Hamm, now 1-3. He tossed 5.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 5. Amarillo is now 18-22, while Shady Side is 21-19.

Amarillo used the hitting of Hunter Ayers to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Warheads on top, 5-0. For the game, Ayers had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
