Flanderses Beat Sea Dogs, 4-2

The Hudsonville Flanderses scooped up a win at Hudsonville Park, dumping the Maine Sea Dogs, 4-2. Oscar Drenth, who is tied for 8th in the SA- in strikeouts with 50, was essential to his team's success. Drenth yielded 2 runs over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 3, and struck out 3. His record improves to 3-2. Len Johnson earned the save for Hudsonville, his 9th.
Ooze Abraham Siebert, who leads the SA- in RBI with 34, came through for Hudsonville with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the third. The shortstop went 2 for 3 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 2 RBI.
After the game, Hudsonville manager Cristián Lima applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.
The Flanderses now have a record of 26-16 with the win over Maine.
