Tijuana turned a good effort from starter Dong-joo Im into a win over the Ogallala Octopi at Toros Ballpark. The Toros won the game, 4-1. Im picked up the win for Tijuana, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 7-0. Michael Duffy earned the save for Tijuana, his 4th of the year.
Mauk Olthuis cracked a home run off Ernesto Zamora in the bottom of the fifth. His solo blast put the Toros on top, 2-1. In all, Olthuis had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"I still think this team can play even better," Im told the Tijuana Herald.
The Toros sit in third place in the Silver Low A with a record of 25-18.
