Ellesmere Island Slaps 4-3 Loss on Tijuana
The Ellesmere Island Snowpeople and Tijuana Toros played an entertaining game for Toros Ballpark patrons.

Tijuana first baseman John Faulkner was sensational. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Ellesmere Island beat the Toros, 4-3. With the win, Ellesmere Island goes to 24-20, while the Toros fall to 19-25.

Ellesmere Island catcher Tim Steele made an impact. He drilled a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth. In the contest, Steele was 1 for 4.

After the game, Ellesmere Island manager Rodrige Margalha applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
