Baby Lakers Rack Up 3-1 Win Versus Watford City
|
Bompton starter Mark Chandler kept the Watford City offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the Baby Lakers to a 3-1 win. The winner was Chandler. He threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Jorge Gonzáles. Bompton, at 31-14, is 3½ games up in the Silver Low A.
Bryan Hudson contributed to the Bompton win with a 2-run single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the catcher had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 RBI.
