The Stingers earned a hard-fought, 5-2 win in 15 innings at Panda Park. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Montana pitcher Adam Brewer. Brewer went 7.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. Toledo pitcher Arsen Campbell got the win. He's now 2-0. David Rubin was tagged with the loss. The Stingers raised their record to 22-16.

Toledo needed the clutch hitting of Joe Saunders to seal the deal. The left fielder swatted a 3-run home run in the top of the 15th inning to put the Stingers on top, 5-2. For the game, Saunders had 1 home run and 2 singles in 7 at-bats.

"I like our mindset right now," said Toledo manager David Bunting.
