The Ballard Beavers downed the Greenport Harbor Whales, 4-2, at Ballpark of Robbins. Joe Hoffman led the way, going 3-for-4 for Ballard. Jesse Seals earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. The win has Ballard at 1-2.

Ballard took a 4-2 lead on Hoffman's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Allan Novillo in the top of the seventh, propelled Ballard to the win.

"We need to string a few more wins like this one together," said Hoffman.
