The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish wasted an inspired, 7.1-inning effort from starter Sam Frey, falling, 2-1, to the Watford City Trash Pandas at Plattsburgh Park. Ramón Santos sewed up the save, his 2nd. Watford City is now 21-29, Plattsburgh 27-23.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Trash Pandas had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the top of the fourth, when center fielder Kikila Holeka hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Sam Frey and made the score 2-1, Trash Pandas. Holeka was 1-4.

"Nice win for us," said Holeka. "Now we'll go after the next one."
