Had Grégory Garcia not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 3rd, Garcia hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Crush.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Garcia said.
