In a low-scoring tilt between the Ballard Beavers and the Napanee Express, 20-year old right-handed pitcher Travis Davis was the difference-maker. The Ballard right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win in 10 innings. Jesse Seals closed the door for Ballard, picking up his 2nd save of the year. Napanee, with the loss, is still a stout 3-1.

Windle Poons had a direct impact on the outcome. Poons contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put Ballard up, 3-2.

"Tough loss," said Napanee manager Dan Bond. "But we'll rebound from it."
