Shockers Pull Out Late-Game Win, 5-4
In a close game at Shockers Field, the Surprise Shockers edged the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 5-4. Surprise first baseman Nick Chamberlain stood apart with his performance. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs. Surprise reliever Harlan MacKnight picked up the win to move to 4-3. Lyndon Newson suffered the loss. Surprise is in second place in the Silver Low A with a record of 31-19.

Odmar Willemsen was the walk-off hero for Surprise. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Shockers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was jumping at the end," Chamberlain said.
