Watford City got a first-rate effort from pitcher Larry Hoskins, who frustrated Shady Side hitters en route to a 2-1 Trash Pandas triumph at Terriers Ballpark. In 6 innings, Hoskins surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed no runs. Earning his 1st save for Watford City was Andy Holman.

Watford City second baseman Jiu-ling Dun produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the top of the ninth with Bob Powell on the mound and Watford City leading 1-0. Dun hit a sacrifice fly.
