Win Goes to Pandas in Tight Contest
The Montana Pandas took Las Vegas pitcher Gilberto Malfeito's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Panda Park. The final score had Montana getting past the Flamingos, 4-3. Malfeito went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 7. Montana reliever Gene Greene picked up the win to move to 3-0. Kun Ec suffered the loss. Montana is now 20-18.

The game reached a climactic end in the bottom of the ninth. With Montana trailing 3-2, Phillip McGee delivered the decisive blow, stroking a fastball from Kun Ec for a 2-run home run. Ballgame.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," McGee said.
