The Quebec City Baby Blues managed to get by the Bompton Baby Lakers, 1-0, at Dylan Park. Quebec City pitcher Cristovão Mineiro set himself apart with his performance. Quebec City, with the win, is 4-1.
With two out in the bottom of the fourth, Alfredo Gómez put Quebec City in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Baby Blues went on to win the ballgame.
"We're a talented bunch when we're playing well," said Mineiro. "I think we showed that here."
