|
A 4-RBI performance from Albert Hernández helped the Memphis Music beat the Amarillo Warheads, 5-2. Jesús Soto picked up the win with 5.1 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 5. On the season, he is now 3-0. Memphis has run its win streak to 7 straight.
With Memphis leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Hernández came up to bat against Amarillo pitcher Juan De La Rosa. Hernández hit a fastball to right for a bases-clearing triple. His 1st triple of the season put the Music on top, 5-1.
"The guys are feeling pretty good about where they're at right now," said Music manager Omar Casteneda. "We have a lot of guys playing with confidence."
