Jones Swats 2 Homers, Angel Kitties Top Trash Pandas, 6-4

The 6-4 Bethlehem win over Watford City was due largely to Esteban Jones. The Angel Kitties catcher was 2-4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Michael Campbell was the winner. Over 8 innings, he yielded 2 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 8 strikeouts. The Angel Kitties go to 18-36 with the win.
Jones contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Bethlehem in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 2-1, Jones took a fastball from Larry Hoskins and stroked the home run to right. His 9th home run of the season allowed the Angel Kitties to leap in front, 4-2.
"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Jones told a Bethlehem Bulletin reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
