Rams Roll to 8-3 Win Over Interns
The Ladue Rams defeated the Capital Hill Interns, 8-3, at Ballpark of Wellsville. Onye Paulino, who is tied for 7th in the SA- in extra base hits with 23, was a standout performer for Ladue. His 3 hits included 2 singles and 1 double -- this in addition to the 2 runs he scored and 1 he knocked in. The winning pitcher was 21-year old left-handed pitcher Zhi Ling. He tossed 88 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits. The save went to Chris McCormick, his 1st this season.

Keith Day cracked a home run off Manuel Acevedo in the bottom of the second. His 2-run blast put the Rams on top, 2-1. In all, Day had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I felt good up there," said Paulino. "I saw the ball well."

The Rams raised their record to 31-23.
