The Napanee Express got a stellar effort from pitcher Marty MacDonald, helping Napanee score a win over the visiting Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 1-0. MacDonald, the winner, moves to 2-0. Bartolo Moreno went 1-2 with a walk for Napanee. The 19-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring walk off Martin Sawyer. It was his 4th walk of the season.
