The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish picked up a win at Plattsburgh Park, knocking off the Greenport Harbor Whales, 5-4, in 10 innings. Starting pitcher Jeff Bean played a key role in the triumph. Plattsburgh reliever Álex Morales picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Roberto Cedeño absorbed the loss. With the win, Plattsburgh lifts its record to 1-6.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Plattsburgh designated hitter Justin Dyer, facing Roberto Cedeño, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Puffer Fish the 5-4 win.

In postgame remarks, Bean simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
