Flanderses Deal Rhinos 5-1 Setback
|
The exploits of center fielder José Galindo, who is tied for 10th in the SA- in triples with 2, helped the Hudsonville Flanderses defeat the Redwood Rhinos, 5-1. Galindo went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was George Ramos. His record is now 9-1. The right-hander went 5.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 5 hits for the Flanderses. The Flanderses go to 36-20, putting them second in the Silver Low A.
Duke Hoban hit a run-scoring double off Dave Campbell in the bottom of the fifth, which put the Flanderses in front, 2-1. In addition to the double, Hoban had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
