Well, that's how to end a game in style.

The Amarillo Warheads faced a tough opponent in Surprise pitcher Jimmy Cooper, but found a way to pull out the victory at Ballpark of Henderson by a final score of 6-4 in 10 innings. Cooper went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Kyle Warren was the winner in relief. His record is now 3-1. The losing pitcher was Eisse Mouwen.

Amarillo got a knockout punch from Jim Giles. The shortstop hammered a 3-run home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Amarillo manager José López commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
