The performance of Yataro Murakami proved critical in helping Watford City beat Bompton, 8-7. The Trash Pandas right fielder belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The loss makes Bompton 40-19.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Watford City. That's when 20-year old catcher Kenshin Takata hit a solo home run off Kurt Morse to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"There's nothing like the buzz of a walk-off win," Takata said.
