Plattsburgh Puffer Fish starter Logan Wrighton kept the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-2 win. The win takes Plattsburgh to 4-4.
In the bottom of the fourth, Plattsburgh second baseman Irving Ledesma had a productive at-bat. With runners on 1st and 3rd and two out, Ledesma stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 2-1, Plattsburgh. For the game, he went 2 for 4 with 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs.
"I thought we played a nice game," Wrighton told the Plattsburgh News. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
