Baby Blues Win Squeaker, 3-2, Over Harbor Whales

The Quebec City Baby Blues picked up a win at Dylan Park, taking down the Greenport Harbor Whales, 3-2, in 10 innings. On the mound for Quebec City was right-hander Ryan Cross. He played a central role in the triumph. Quebec City has a mark of 6-3 after the win.
Up to bat in the bottom of the tenth, 21-year old first baseman António Álvarez had a chance to be the hero. Greenport pitcher Steve Moore wanted to foil that plan. But with no outs, Álvarez drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Baby Blues had themselves a thrilling win.
"Our guys refused to lose," said Cross.
