Canucks Losing Streak at 7 After Extra-Inning Loss to Snowpeople
Extra innings were needed to determine a winner at Foresters Stadium.

Led by John Cook, the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople downed the Moose Jaw Canucks, 7-5, in 10 innings. Cook belted 2 home runs for the Snowpeople. The defeat makes Moose Jaw 1-8.

Ellesmere Island used the timely hitting of Miguel González to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Snowpeople on top, 6-5. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame comments, Cook said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
