The Northwest Territory Beavers and Tijuana Toros played an exciting game.
Northwest Territory picked up a win at Beaver Town, bumping off the Tijuana Toros, 4-2. Pitcher Kevin Evans was a major reason the Beavers emerged victorious. The winning pitcher was Evans, now 4-1. He tossed 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 3 and fanning 6. Sam Myers wrapped it up, recording his 6th save.
Bert Budge aided the Northwest Territory cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I like the roll we're on," said Northwest Territory manager Robert Acker.
The Silver Low A-leading Beavers have a record of 42-20.
