Victors Again, Northwest Territory Win Streak at 8
|
Northwest Territory starter Harley Wright put a stranglehold on the Quebec City offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Beavers to a 6-1 win. Earning his 1st save for Northwest Territory was Ismael Riddles Jr.. With the win, Northwest Territory improves its record to 8-1.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Ismael Riddles Jr. didn't flinch. With runners on 1st and 2nd and Quebec City trailing 3-1, Riddles Jr. retired Kane Fullalove to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Riddles Jr., with a wink.
