The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish downed the Maine Sea Dogs, 9-5, at Plattsburgh Park. Kanvar Prashanth led the way, going 3-for-5 for Plattsburgh. The winning pitcher was 19-year old left-handed pitcher Vern Peña. He tossed 107 pitches over 6 innings, allowing 4 runs on 4 hits. James Gray collected save number 1.

With Plattsburgh leading 5-4 in the bottom of the eighth, Prashanth hit a fastball from Haico Ulderink for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Puffer Fish ahead, 9-4.

"I put some good swings on the ball tonight," said Prashanth.

Plattsburgh, at 34-30, occupies 5th place in the Silver Low A.
