The Quebec City Baby Blues got a good effort from starter Ryan Cross in defeating the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople at Dylan Park. The final score was 5-0. The win has Quebec City at 5-5.

The Baby Blues liked what they saw from Cross. The 19-year- old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Snowpeople to no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings, and striking out 5.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Cross told the Quebec City Times.
