Starting pitcher Charlie Leslie pitched well enough to help the Maine Sea Dogs beat the Plattsburgh Puffer Fish, 4-3. Leslie yielded 2 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 7 hits, walked 0, and struck out 2. His record improves to 4-3. Jeff Robinson locked down his 7th save.
The Sea Dogs got a big at-bat from center fielder Rafael Sardiña. For the game, Sardiña was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fifth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Maine a 3-2 lead.
