The Shady Side Zoomies managed to get by the Beaumont Crossbeaus, 3-2, at Terriers Ballpark. Shady Side pitcher Ogai Sugimoto set himself apart with his performance. Sugimoto picked up the win for Shady Side, going 5 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 6-4. The Zoomies are now 38-27, while the Crossbeaus fall to 38-27.
Chris Fowler helped his team take an early lead with a 2-run single. It came in the first inning, making the score 2-0, Zoomies.
