Baby Blues Roll to 8-3 Win Over Snowpeople
The Quebec City Baby Blues topped the Ellesmere Island Snowpeople, 8-3, with catcher Bob Gilmore playing a big role. Gilmore went 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Baby Blues in the win. With the win, Quebec City improves its record to 6-5.

The Snowpeople had been locked in a 3-3 tie with the Baby Blues going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 20-year old center fielder Manuel Pueblo came to the plate. Pueblo hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch changeup from Ellesmere Island hurler Ernest Pollard. It was Pueblo's 1st home run of the year.

"I still think this team can play even better," Pueblo told the Quebec City Times.
